SPOKANE, Wash. — Multiple traffic projects are set to begin on Monday, according to the City of Spokane.
Starting August 5, Washington Street and Stevens Street will be closed in both directions between North River Drive and Spokane Falls Boulevard. The closure is expected to last at least four weeks.
Use the following detours:
Southbound detour at North River Drive and Washington StreetNorthbound detour at Spokane Falls Boulevard and Washington Street
Access to businesses and Riverfront Park will still be open along North River Drive between Division and Washington.
A grind and overlay project will also begin on August 5 on Lincoln Road between Standard Street and Nevada Street in Northeast Spokane. The project is expected to take two weeks. Lanes will be reduced in both directions on Lincoln.
Also on Monday, North Ash Street between Dean Avenue and Broadway Avenue will be fully closed and crews begin a traffic revision project. The street will be reconfigured into a two-way street to allow access to the Maple Street Bridge on-ramp from Broadway Avenue.
Use the following detours:
Southbound drivers will be detoured at Boone Avenue and are encouraged to use Monroe Street if travelling past Boone.
