Pirates’ Stratton suffers ruptured patella tendon

Pittsburgh Pirates veteran reliever Hunter Stratton was carted off the field in the fourth inning of Saturday night’s 10-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds after sustaining a left knee patella tendon rupture while trying to chase down a ball behind home plate.
