SPOKANE, Wash. – After a tight eight-point win over Arizona State, this time, the Gonzaga Bulldogs men’s basketball team took no chances.
Tonight’s 113-54 win was a blowout from the start, as Gonzaga led 41-17 near halftime and scored over 60 in the second half, led by forward Khalif Battle with 21 points.
The Zags stifled the River Hawk attack, forcing a season-high 25 turnovers and outscoring their bench 48-12.
Gonzaga is 3-0 to start a season for the first time since 2021-22, and will look to make that 4-0 in their game against the San Diego State Aztecs Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
