SPOKANE, Wash. – Four Cougars put-up double digit points in a 96-81 win over Eastern Washington, Thursday night in the Spokane Arena.
Three Cougs that used to wear EWU’s logo were big playmakers against their former team. Cedric Coward had 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists while Dane Erikstrup led the team in scoring with 24 points and eight rebounds.
Isaiah Watts had a career-high 22 points including four triples. Nate Calmese had 19 points on the night.
Eastern Washington’s Nic McClain was the Eagle’s leading man also dropping 24 points and seven rebounds.
Washington State is back in action next Tuesday against Fresno State. Eastern Washington heads on the road and will play Cal Baptist down in southern California.
