SPOKANE, Wash. – The No. 13 Gonzaga Bulldogs’ losing streak ends at two after their dominant 102-72 win over the Nicholls State Colonels.
The Zags trailed 27-26 late in the first half, but then went on a blitzing 17-2 run to end the first half and start the second, culminating in a 59-point final 20 minutes.
Forward Braden Huff led all scorers with a season-high 25, shooting an impressive 11-12 from the field.
Gonzaga shot a blistering 73.3% from the field in the second half, and also excelled from the free throw line, shooting 24-27 as a team.
The Bulldogs return to the McCarthey Center this Saturday against the Bucknell Bison, their final home non-conference game of the season.
