WICHITA, Kan. – The No. 8 seed Gonzaga Bulldogs fall 81-76 to the No. 1 seed Houston Cougars to end their season in the Round of 32.
This ends a nine-year streak of making the Sweet 16.
Graham Ike led the Zags with 27 points and five rebounds. He shot a perfect 9-9 from the free throw line and 8-13 from the field.
Gonzaga as a team shot a perfect 15-15 from the charity stripe and made nine threes as a team, their 76 points the most Houston allowed in a regulation win this season.
