SPOKANE, Wash – Coug fans in Spokane can have their first look at the new head football coach and new team on Saturday without having to leave the Lilac City.
WSU is hosting an open football practice at One Spokane Stadium on Saturday. Immediately after, the team is hosting a football clinic for kids in grade levels K-8.
WSU is practicing in their first spring under new coach Jimmy Rogers. Rogers came from South Dakota State University, replacing Jake Dickert who took the head coaching job at Wake Forest.
Open team practice is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The clinic is scheduled to run from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Entrance to the practice is free, but participation in the kids’ clinic is $10 per player, with proceeds supporting Spokane middle school tackle football.
