PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State men’s basketball star Cedric Coward entered his name into the transfer portal, the fifth Cougar to do so.
Coward joins LeJuan Watts, Isaiah Watts, Nate Calmese and Marcus Wilson in the portal, and combined with the expired eligibility of Dane Erikstrup and Ethan Price, the Cougs will need to replace their entire starting lineup in back-to-back offseasons.
Coward only played six games this season, averaging 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 blocks per game, all career highs at the Division I level after playing for Eastern Washington the past two seasons.
