Former Gonzaga Bulldog Yvonne Ejim was waived from the Indiana Fever less than a month after she was selected No. 33 in the WNBA Draft.
The team is required to cut the roster to 12 players before the start of the season. The roster is finalized on May 15 with May 16 set for opening day.

Ejim averaged 20.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game in the 2024-25 season. She’s Gonzaga’s all-time leading scorer and has been recognized as the program’s all-time leader in rebounds.
Ejim was named WCC player of the year and defensive player of the year this season. She was one of only five active players in Division I with 2,000 career points and 1,000 rebounds. She also set the record for most points scored in a single season.
