Red Sox put 1B Gonzalez on IL; Devers stays DH

The Red Sox put first baseman Romy Gonzalez on the 10-day injured list with a left-quad contusion, but Boston manager Alex Cora said Saturday that he considers the issue “a short-term thing,” and it doesn’t mean Rafael Devers is headed to first base yet.
