LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The No. 2 seed Gonzaga Bulldogs fell 14-6 to the No. 3 seed Saint Mary’s Gaels tonight, pitting them in an elimination game after their first 2025 WCC Tournament game.
Pitching was a disaster, allowing 19 hits on top of those 14 runs, starter and All-WCC first team selection starter Finbar O’Brien allowed seven hits and eight runs in his 1.1 innings pitched.
Josh Hankins and Rece Schuerman hit the best, both recording multi-hit games and combining for four RBIs.
Gonzaga faces No. 1 seeded San Diego tomorrow at noon, loser is eliminated.
