OKLAHOMA CITY – It’s only the 20th time ever the NBA Finals series has been forced to a game 7.
It’s also the first time we’re seeing the series go the distance since 2016 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors: one of the most iconic game sevens.
The Game 7 in 2025 will also go down in history with both the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder each vying for their first championship title in franchise history.
One former Gonzaga Bulldogs is guaranteed to be crowned an NBA champion with Andrew Nembhard on the Pacers and Chet Holmgren on the Thunder.
You can watch the NBA Finals on KXLY with tipoff on Sunday at 5 p.m. PST.
