SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Chiefs begin their road to finalizing their 2025-26 roster with training camp starting today.
The prospective Chiefs conducted a multitude of drills and measurements in Spokane Arena, welcoming over 60 players to test, a number that will be whittled down to under half by late September.
The players spoke today on how it’s felt early in the preseason process.
“Yeah, like I think it’s been great,” Chief returning forward Chase Harrington said. “A lot of the guys are super comfortable already, a lot different than I was when I was their age, but they’re pretty fun, good to get to know with, and yeah, pretty good.”
“Seeing the family and the bond they have from the start, even just now in training camp, even losing a couple of guys and a couple of guys not being here, just the same bond that they had when I was here in the spring watching them, right before playoffs,” Chiefs newcomer Caden Zasada said. “It’s really cool and fun to see, something I want to be a part of.”
Spokane begins their regular season on September 19 at Kelowna, and they begin their home schedule against Tri-City on September 27.
