SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The UC San Diego Tritons will join the West Coast Conference in 2027, effectively replacing Gonzaga as they leave for the Pac-12.
With the addition of UCSD, the WCC will be at 10 members for the 2027-28 season, including this season’s addition of the Seattle RedHawks.
UCSD made history this past season by becoming the first team in NCAA Division I history to have their men’s and women’s basketball teams both qualify for the NCAA Tournament in their first eligible season transferring into DI.
