HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Washington State Cougars traveled east to face the 21st-ranked James Madison Dukes. The Cougars began strongly, holding a 17-10 lead over JMU at the half.
However, the second half told a different story when the Dukes flipped the momentum through two explosive plays, which gave them the lead 24-20.
The Cougars attempted to catch up but on their final chance a pass from Zevi Eckhaus intended for Jeremiah Noga fell incomplete.
JMU hung on for a 24-20 victory over the Cougars and capped off an undefeated regular season at home.
The Cougars look ahead to their final game of regular season; they host Oregon State on November 29 at 3:30 pm.
