Sources: Huskers to hire SDSU’s Aurich as new DC

Nebraska coach Matt Rhule is turning to San Diego State’s Rob Aurich as the program’s new defensive coordinator, sources told ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Sunday, a coach who produced one of the season’s best defensive turnaround arounds with the Aztecs in 2025.
