SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga Bulldogs (27-2, 15-1) survived a late scare against the Pacific Tigers (17-13, 8-9), 71-62.
Graham Ike overcame a rough start to score 20 points, becoming the first Zag since at least 2006 with nine-straight 20+ point outputs.
The Zags shot worse from the field, the three-point line and even free throws, but forced 15 turnovers to only four committed.
Rebounding suffered too, as GU only hauled in 19 defensive boards, and they lost the overall battle, 36-32.
Gonzaga looks to shake off the slow game and get revenge on the Portland Pilots this coming Wednesday evening.
