CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Washington State Cougars (5-24, 4-12) dropped a tough road game to the Oregon State Beavers (20-9, 12-4), 79-51.
Former Coug Jenna Villa led the Beavs with 20 points, well above her season average.
WSU featured a 15-point game from center Alex Covill, coming when star guard Eleonora Villa couldn’t find her step in a 1-11 performance.
The Cougs return to Pullman to close their regular season, the first of two final games come against the Seattle U Redhawks next Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
