SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Zephyr couldn’t get on the board against Lexington SC, taking the now-top team in the USL Super League to a scoreless draw.
The result kept Spokane in the thick of the playoff race, tied for the first spot out of the playoffs and just one point back from the last position.
Next match is a huge one: Spokane hosts DC Power, another of the four teams still alive. DC plays at league second-place Jacksonville on Wednesday, and then plays Spokane in Washington on Saturday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m.
If the Zephyr wins its final two matches, it’d only need Dallas to drop just a point over its final two games.
