The Seattle Mariners will be represented by two of their top pitching prospects at the 2026 MLB All-Star Futures Game.
Kade Anderson, a left-handed pitcher, and Ryan Sloan, a right-hander, have been chosen to participate in the upcoming annual showcase. This exciting event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 12, at Citizens Bank Park, in Philadelphia. Notably, both Anderson and Sloan are highly regarded, ranking among the top 10 prospects in baseball according to Baseball America.
Anderson has been one of the most dominant pitchers in the minor leagues this season, going 8-0 with a 1.22 ERA and 99 strikeouts in 66.2 innings over 13 starts with Double-A Arkansas. The 2025 third overall draft pick also leads qualifying minor league pitchers in ERA and WHIP.
Sloan is just 20 years old and he’s already making a name for himself in the baseball world. This season, he’s started 13 games for Double-A Arkansas, and his numbers are pretty impressive – a 4.11 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 57 innings. What’s even more remarkable is that he’s the youngest pitcher to play at the Double-A level this year. If you look at his last six starts, he’s been on fire, with a 2.81 ERA.
The MLB All-Star Futures Game is set for July 12 and showcases many of the top prospects across Minor League Baseball.
