SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Indians open the home series against the Tri-City Dust Devils with a win, 5-4.
Back-to-back home runs in back-to-back at-bats by Jacob Humphrey and Tanner Thach retook the lead after allowing three runs in the top of the third.
The lead would hold despite allowing a run in the top of the ninth, and Spokane held on to take a 1-0 series lead.
Spokane readies for Game 2 of the series tomorrow at 6:35 p.m.
