COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – It was almost easier to track which schools had not offered Coeur d’Alene guard Brookeslee Colvin a spot on their roster.
Tuesday, the number one player in Idaho announced she’ll play her college basketball at Indiana University.
Colvin was the Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior last year, averaging 30.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 5.3 steals and 4.7 assists per game.
Last year, she became the leading scorer in Coeur d’Alene girls basketball history.
Her Northwest Blazers AAU team went undefeated last season, winning the GUAA 17U national championship.
Colvin had offers from Michigan, North Carolina, Cal and others.
Sportswriter Jeff Rabjohns said Tuesday Colvin is the highest ranked high school recruit to ever commit to IU.
Her sister Teagan will play this year for Portland State. She transfered there after one year at UNLV.
