DENVER, Colo. – Former Gonzaga Bulldogs men’s basketball star point guard Ryan Nembhard signed a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets today.
The 23-year-old played 60 games last season for the Dallas Mavericks, breaking a Mavericks’ rookie record with 23 assists in Dallas’ win over Chicago this April.
Nembhard averaged 6.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists over 19.5 minutes per game with Dallas, and he joins a Denver team with NBA assist leader Nikola Jokic leading the way.
The guard is the 11th current Gonzaga alum in the NBA, joining 2023 draftee Julian Strawther in the Mile High City.
