SPOKANE, Wash. – No. 16 Gonzaga hasn’t lost back-to-back WCC games since 2014.
That changed tonight with another second-half collapse, this time against the Santa Clara Broncos, making consecutive seasons of losing in The Kennel to SC.
The Broncos shot a remarkable 12-17 (70.6%) from three in the second half, powered by Tyeree Bryan’s career-high 35 points with seven made threes.
Ryan Nembhard finished with a solid 16 points and 15 assists, and Nolan Hickman led the Zags with 24 points on six made threes.
Gonzaga had never allowed 100+ points in any game since The Kennel was built in 2004.
