Rose, ‘Shoeless’ Joe HOF-eligible as MLB lifts ban

Pete Rose, the all-time hit king, and Joe Jackson — both longtime baseball pariahs stained by gambling — are now presumably eligible for election into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
