SPOKANE, Wash – The official tipoff of Spokane Hoopfest isn’t until Saturday morning, but there are plenty of things to do Friday in downtown Spokane.
Here are the highlights:
7am-Midnight: Embrace Washington hosting a 24-hour charity game at the Hooptown USA complex, North Bank of the Spokane River8am-1pm: Women’s professional 3XBA. Northern Quest Center Court, under the Spokane pavilion11am-7pm: Team check-in in Riverfront Park Central Plaza, next to the pavilion11am-6pm: Hoopfest store is open in the Pavilion building11am-7pm: Toyota Shootoff qualifying rounds. Riverfront Park, just north of the orange bridge12pm-1pm: Skills clinic for kids grades 1-6 with Idaho Vandals basketball players. On Gesa High School Center Court, next to the pavilion2pm-5pm: World’s largest game of knockout at Northern Quest Center Court6pm: Downtown streets shut down, court setup gets underway
