SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Indians couldn’t overcome a late Eugene four-run rally in the top of the ninth to fall 8-4.
Four Spokane batters had multi-hit games, Andy Perez leading with three hits, two RBIs and a run. He, Braylen Wimmer and Tevin Tucker all knocked in home runs, adding up to the only Indian runs of the night.
Starting Spokane pitcher Michael Prosecky pitched a near-perfect first two innings, but allowed four runs in the top of the third. He threw eight strikeouts and just one walk.
Spokane returns for Game 5 of the series tomorrow at 7:05 p.m.
