PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – The Spokane Chiefs fall behind 2-0 in the Western Conference Quarterfinals series following a 3-2 loss at the Prince George Cougars.
Prince George scored three-straight goals to lead by that margin after the second period, and Spokane’s two third-period goals came too late to mount an effective comeback.
Ethan Hughes and Tyus Sparks scored the two goals, both their first goals of this postseason.
Spokane returns home for Game 3 on Monday at 7:05 p.m.
