SPOKANE, Wash. – Emmanuel Innocenti, the second Gonzaga player and first major contributor, intends to enter the transfer portal when it opens on Tuesday.
His agency, “THE·TEAM”, told DraftExpress today.
The Italian guard was arguably Gonzaga’s best defensive option last season, excelling at defending guards on the perimeter.
Innocenti finished third on the team in minutes (24.3 per game), after graduating Graham Ike (31.2) and likely returning Braden Huff (25.4).
The junior is the first Zags player to enter the portal after finishing the previous season averaging above 20 minutes per game or starting in large majority games (Innocenti started in 29 of 35 games).
Innocenti is the second Zags player to intend to enter the portal following former walk-on Cade Orness, and the 15-day window closes on April 21.
