PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State baseball picked up many high-end-of-regular-season honors in its last season in the Mountain West Conference.
Nick Lewis won WSU’s first conference Pitcher of the Year award after a season in which he led the conference in ERA and wins, plus finished top five in lowest batting average allowed and WHIP.
Lewis, Max Hartman, and Gavin Roy finished on the All-Mountain West first team, while Ryan Skjonsby and Griffin Smith both earned second team spots.
Wazzu begins its Mountain West Tournament run tomorrow against the Air Force Falcons at 6:05 p.m.
