SPOKANE, Wash – Some of the best soccer players in the world spent their Monday afternoon, practicing at Gonzaga University.
Spokane is the home base for Egypt during the World Cup, with practices on Gonzaga’s Luger Field.
Egypt arrived in Spokane Sunday night on a chartered Southwest Airlines flight.
They’ll hold one public practice this week, but fans needed to enter a ticket lottery to get them.
The Pharaohs play their first game Monday, June 15th against Belgium in Seattle.
